SS~ FRAMEWORK PHYSIQUE #11 : SKIN~DEEP

Flesh.... Melanin.....Acne.... beauty.... soft...ruff...racism... black... white....what do all these words have in common? Skin. The biggest organ on the body. Some may say the most important. It is the first line of protection for the body's well being. It known to alter the trajectory of your societal status. Some may believe the higher the melanin, the harder it is to acquire economic opportunities. Others may say the lower the melanin the more inferior one may be in athletic ability. We are not here to discuss either. Our concerns has been refocused to what matters most. We are focused on the actions of the individuals that walk around, in this god given coating. Millions are spent yearly to keep skin wrinkle free. This is notorious for the anglo saxon, the Ebony, and all shades in-between. Just at the sheer sight of a crow's feet settling in, provokes lower vibrations. Long has the association of age and wisdom left us. This is because time no longer shows any sign of long term discipline and better understanding of self. The old and the young are led by things outside of themselves, instead of within themselves. But what are signs that our actions & the things we are consuming are the problem? What ques has god put in place to make us all aware, we are in need of healing?

Acne to the average citizen is just a result of hair follicles clogged with oil and dead skin. It's something they can't help. It's something given to them from genetics that requires topical treatment immediately. But does the oil being made up for primarily fatty acids take no precedence. Does the fact that more than half the skin being made up of water take no precedence? Maybe the over consumption of fatty foods has thickened the oil and the lack of water made it harder for the skin to flush the dead skin cells. Maybe the underconsumption of water has the body in survival mode. Primarily focused on using the little water it does have to keep the inner faculties going. This now placing the skin on the back burner.

To regain our promised baby bottom smooth skin. A change in our diet could work wonders. Removing toxins from our body is key, like in all aspects of poor health. Consuming fruit such as papaya and avocado are filled with vitamin A. Vitamin A is an amazing tool for healthy skin. Grabbing a bag of pumpkin seeds can help as well. Pumpkin seeds hold zinc and calcium by the boatload. The calcium will aid in balancing the PH levels in the body. Everybody knows if your PH is off your acne can definitely be on. What's another great source to add to something with PH troubles but is more than half water? WATER! ALKALINE WATER! Water with such a great PH level help fix this issue . It only makes sense.  The hidden gem to all these are Peas. They are super acne fighters. They are filled with vitamin A , calcium, and high levels of fiber. The fiber will kick toxin's ass out of the body, day one. But of course we all know that. If you've ever had trouble releasing toxins aka dropping the kids off at the pool (pooing). Fiber in name brand quantities like "MetaMucil" or nature boy quantities like "Raisins" have always been a go too.  

As I joke, it's not a joking matter. It has blocked potential dates, ruined self esteems , and tainted self image. Also these changes in diet may revamp the view of flesh in the eyes of society. Maybe its newfound glow will change from a societal calling card into a statement of healthy decisions. Decisions made regardless of melanin. Maybe a change at the dinner table, can arrange for love of anyone at everyone’s table.
